In my role as a UX and UI Design leader, I faced the challenge of simplifying the process for families navigating a new city. Recognising the difficulties associated with this, especially for families, I aimed to conceptualise a solution that addresses the complexities of finding the best family-friendly places. Additionally, as a design leader I believe that it is important to be able to use the same tools as your team competently, in order to help solve challenges that they may face or provide guidance on best practices.

My goal was to create an innovative activity booking app designed for iOS, utilising FIGMA and FRAMER. This app would go beyond traditional recommendations by suggesting daily activities tailored to user preferences, considering factors such as weather, time of day, age appropriateness, and popularity.

To address the challenge, I harnessed a hands-on approach, creating a high-fidelity prototype that showcased a seamless user experience. The app not only simplifies the process of discovering family-friendly places but also allows users to explore top locations for various activities, such as dining, entertainment, and relaxation. This project exemplifies my commitment to continuously building technical design competency and staying actively involved in the design process to deliver impactful solutions that enhance user experiences.
